Category: Education - K-12 - Private The Holy Trinity Episcopal School Building Renovation Phase 2 project consists of interior renovations including new HVAC systems and several new storefront openings. Holy Trinity Episcopal school received about 85% renovations to its 23,570-square-foot building. The renovations consisted of renovating all classrooms, office spaces, restrooms, gymnasium, the addition of a performance stage, exterior canopies, and installation of new several storefront openings. Due to the increase in enrollment, sections of the gymnasium were converted into classrooms and a cafeteria which required the installation of two (2) new AHU. The new Baker school is designed to support a core capacity of 750 students and features administration offices, library, art and science rooms, cafeteria, gymnasium, band, choir, orchestra and ancillary support areas. The school also includes new staff and visitor parking areas, parent drop off/pick-up drive, bus loop drop-off/pick-up, detention area, fencing, security lighting and surveillance cameras, sidewalk paving, play fields, playground equipment and a community walking track. The school was rebuilt on the same site where it previously stood. Construction required 140,000 square feet of demolition, including the foundation in its entirety. Category: Office / Corporate (Interiors) This project included approximately 25,000 square foot conference and training areas on the ground level; expanded office space on the second level; world-class training and presentation facilities for GE Oil & Gas and their global customers. New construction includes the addition of a 60-foot wide by 151-foot-long high bay metal building with a lean-to canopy. The building features a 20-ton overhead rail crane, compressed air drops, and an outdoor CMU walled containment and pressure wash area. The renovation portion of the project included the selective demolition and expansion of a two-story office area residing in the existing high bay metal building. This expansion doubles the level two office space, adds personnel lockers and restrooms on the first floor, doubles the size of the breakroom and electrical processes room, and adds a control room. Category: Office / Corporate (New | Major Addition) The two story, 65,688 square-foot Headquarters and Training Center includes a training and skills development center, auditorium, computer labs, classrooms, conference center, offices, cafeteria, clinic, and parking lot. The two-building complex is connected by a beautifully landscaped employee courtyard. The project also includes a new central plant to serve the campus for a more efficient design. Additionally, the building is comfortably nestled on 34-acres of land to allow for future expansion. Tellepsen constructed the Houston Area Safety Council to meet LEED certification standards. The 220-seat auditorium was built with stadium seating and optimal acoustics to ensure that there were no sight or sound obstructions during lectures. Computer labs were constructed with 650 workstations to minimize interference when trainees required computer utilization. All of this was a reflection of the successful ministry of Champion Forest Baptist Church and allows the church to continue to expand its ministry and meet the needs of the church community. Category: Education - Higher Ed The Center for Petrochemical, Energy, and Technology is a 152,000-square-foot facility which includes process operations, instrumentation, electrical, nondestructive testing, and craft trades. It also includes an 8,000-square-foot glycol distillation unit to teach process operations and develop troubleshooting skills for students and incumbent workers. A state-of-the-art control room inside the building operates the glycol distillation unit with an emphasis on optimizing safety, efficiency, and ergonomic human factors. Category: Liturgical / Faith Based Tellepsen was honored to partner with Mary Queen Catholic Church and HBL Architects on the churchs new campus expansion project that included a 37,650-square-foot sanctuary and chapel. The sanctuary was constructed to seat up to 1,600 visitors while the chapel seats 200. This expansion allows Mary Queen Catholic Church to reach a consistently growing audience, now serving over 2,100 families, seven times its size when founded. The parish emphasizes the importance of the statement the privilege of ministry is growth. The requirement for more space is a true testament that the statement is as accurate as it has ever been.
