Their input during preconstruction has always been valuable, and they likewise rely on Page’s A/E team to work closely with them during construction. The work has always been collaborative and professional, and Tellepsen has usually been asked to deliver projects faster than reasonable to expect. " Kurt Neubek | Page "There's no substitute for a relationship of trust and outstanding performance built up over years. We are not perfect owners and you are not perfect builders, but we have done very well with our mutual expertise, communication, documentation and commitment to a great outcome not just for us, but for the people of Houston." Sheryl Kolasinski | Houston Zoo "The entire team was exceptional. A special shoutout to my friend Howard for delivering everything the team promised. My highest recommendation for Tellepsen without any hesitation. WOW! What a great group of folks. We are very pleased with the outcome of our new home." Rick Conelly | Fluor "I am delighted to be partnered with Tellepsen. And, I truly do feel like we are a partnership and family as we create this amazing gateway for children and families to find justice, healing and hope!" Victoria Constance | Children's Safe Harbor "The team has been great to work with on Jack's Cafe - from the perspective of the architects. We appreciate that Tellepsen has created a transparent environment for architects & owners to understand submittal deadlines, projects costs, budget and upcoming change orders. I appreciate that the Tellepsen team treats our team with mutual respect and fosters a positive environment when on site visits and client meetings. Look forward to completing another successful project together!" Sunnie Diaz | Lake Flato "Tellepsen is by far the best CMAR Contractor that I have worked with over my 48 years in the industry. Their word (do what we say we'll do as a comment and do so with intent) is their bond. My opinion is unwavering with relevance to having worked in 14 states and with over a hundred construction firms. I consider it a privilege each day to have Tellepsen as a partner representing our clients......" Jeff Hurd | Gallagher "I have had the pleasure of working with Tellepsen on two large-scale complicated projects that were both successes. Tellepsen was a strong partner the entire duration of both projects from early estimating to punchlist, always responsive, sensitive to Brookfield’s needs/requirements and the needs/requirements of our tenants, and transparent. " William Holliday | Brookfield Properties "I would like to express my gratitude for being able to work with such a great team! We were dealing with a tough schedule, an old building, and a budget which by no means was generous. We have been part of the rebirth of a new building, and I believe all of us are proud of the strenuous effort." Theodora Batchvarova | RdlR Architects, Inc. "Our team at Fluor continues to absolutely kill it. I could not be prouder of what this group is doing out there. This is obviously not an easy project, and our group is doing a great job delivering while creating raving fans on all sides." Mariam Arian, design partner on Fluor "Tellepsen's ability to collaborate effectively with our team and adapt to changing circumstances was particularly commendable. Their clear communication and problem-solving skills greatly contributed to the project's success. Tellepsen's unwavering commitment to safety and quality further underscored their professionalism and dedication. I have no hesitation in recommending Tellepsen for any future projects or endeavors. This dedication to excellence ensured that the final results far exceeded our expectations." Kristen Kupperman | Texas Medical Center Nabisco Labs "I want to tell you how much I appreciate the job that Tellepsen did for us. I have been involved with major construction projects for nearly two decades. Over that time period, I have never experienced individuals – from the superintendent down to the laborers – who took such pride in their work. Your staff not only did a magnificent job, they did it in a friendly and cooperative manner. The personnel on site were unfailingly courteous and helpful, and their professionalism and dedication was infectious as far as subcontractors and others working on the project were concerned." William Kovach | St. Martin's Episcopal Church "Your team did an outstanding job. You lived up to your reputation of being of service and on spot in solving problems. The team's camaraderie showed well, the preparation was unmatched and the credibility of your entire organization won you the project." Joseph Mathis | The Mathis Group "Thank you for your team’s above-and-beyond work to accommodate and support our tree moving activities this week. With your support and partnership, we are able to save approximately 200 trees by relocating them, with the large live oak requiring the most coordination with and support from your team...We sincerely appreciate your partnership and are very happy to be continuing our work together." Shellye Arnold | Memorial Park Conservancy "Just wanted Tellepsen to know how much I appreciate y’all. Houston Methodist Baytown has had a lot of success in 2019, both financially as well as operationally. Being able to succeed in these areas plus successfully complete a major construction project would not have been possible without your team. Thank you!!" < Back to Projects 1100 Milam Repositioning to Houston Industries Headquarters Owner: Reliant Energy Architect: Ziegler Cooper Size: 850,000 sq. ft. Category: Office / Corporate (Interiors) The repositioning of the 1100 Milam Building to the headquarters of Houston Industries is one of Houston's landmark real estate development projects. The redevelopment plan called for gutting the 47-story building wall to wall. Equipment and materials had to be put into place in a careful sequence with only the sidewalks as the layout space. Tellepsen completed the interior construction of the headquarters offices. The transformation of the building was a unique example of the symbiosis between architecture, investment and urban revitalization. The redesign created a symbol of the company that is visible 24 hours a day. - Texas Children's Hospital Woodlands - Level 6 Clinic Expansion | Tellepsen
< Back to Projects Texas Children's Hospital Woodlands - Level 6 Clinic Expansion Owner: Texas Children's Hospital Architect: Size: 6,300 sq. ft. Category: Healthcare (interiors) The project consists of a clinic expansion on the 6th floor of the Medical Office Building at Texas Children's Hospital The Woodlands to serve the Neurology Outpatient Clinic. The scope includes partial demolition of shell space and construction of the new build-out space. The clinic expansion is 6,300 square feet and consists of 12 exam rooms, 1 procedure room and support spaces. The reception 'clubhouse' consists of design components matching the existing clubhouses, a fun and inviting feature/design element for children. The project offered several challenges. First, the 6th floor included an existing clinic which was operational during construction. We were challenged with keeping the patients and staff safe as well as not disrupting daily activities. Temporary barriers, containment and directional signage were installed to isolate construction from clinic activities. Additionally, constant communication with the office manager was required to ensure major noise generating activities were avoided when testing, which required silence, was being performed. Second, plenum space above ceiling was limited. The roof concrete structure was sloped and therefore reduced the space for equipment, ductwork and piping above ceiling. Subcontractors surveyed the existing construction, included this information with their new work, coordinated the new work via BIM (Building Information Modeling) and were diligent and accurate in the field implementation of their coordinated efforts. Finally, the schedule duration required quick procurement of materials and had to be done in consideration of the holiday season (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year). The team understood this constraint and worked diligently to ensure timely delivery. The construction team submitted for approval all required items quickly and in many cases, prior to the NTP being given. The design team expedited their review and Owner made timely decisions which resulted in all materials arriving on time. To play, press and hold the enter key. To stop, release the enter key.
