Category: Civic / Government The Harris County Emergency Services Department #9 project consists of a renovation to an existing tilt-wall warehouse of 75,000 square feet, which includes office space and a fleet storage area. There are two additions to the facility; a 15,000 square-foot tilt-wall which will serve as fleet maintenance and a 7,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal building that serves as fleet storage. Overall, the building houses administration office space, an emergency operations center, backup dispatch, fleet storage, and fleet maintenance. Site development consisted of grading, and installation of water systems, wastewater systems, and natural gas lines. The mechanical yard includes a 140-foot Motorola Tower with a foundation which allows for future extension to 280 feet.
