It also promotes strengthening of families and builds stronger relationships in the League City community. The technologically advanced fitness center is a 35,800-square-foot building which features a state-of-the-art wellness center with over 60 cardio equipment stations. Each station provides personal viewing screens and online fitness evaluations updated with each workout. There is also an outdoor heated lap pool, family pool, water park and locker rooms to enhance community programs. Category: Office / Corporate (Interiors) 1001 McKinney, a luxury historic downtown building, underwent a comprehensive renovation spanning approximately 14,500 square feet. The project included the creation of versatile multi-purpose rooms with folding doors for flexible configurations, a stylish speakeasy breakroom, and a serene 1,585 square-foot terrace with lush landscaping. Luxurious interior details such as stained millwork paneling and simulated Venetian plaster were incorporated, alongside innovative design elements like open space ceilings and specialty laser line lighting in the workroom. The project seamlessly blends historic charm with modern sophistication, creating a vibrant urban oasis in the heart of the city. Category: Liturgical / Faith Based The project totaled 168,187 square feet and featured a mesmerizing 3,500-seat worship building. The building contains a worship hall with moveable seating surrounding the altar, acoustical tiled walls, four-way projection screen system, full audio/visual control booth, and on-stage screens. The building also features an open lobby design, activity room, gathering space, and a full kitchen. Attached to the building is the 82,773 square foot Education Building. This building contains classrooms, a 25,000-square-foot nursery, play area, media space, cafe, gathering space, and a children's theater for the GiGL (Growing in God's Love) program which is a religious educational program for preschoolers utilizing puppets and live actors. The project also included a 3,574-square-foot central plan to serve the campus. In total, the campus accommodates 6,915 church members at a given time. The exterior of the building was constructed with a true Texas look and feel. It utilizes a limestone and exposed wood design to create a welcoming, comfortable environment for churchgoers. Category: Parks / Open Spaces The Orangutan Holding Building is one of several ongoing projects at the Houston Zoo as part of their Centennial Campaign. This building is considered the first phase of the overall project, with the Orangutan Exhibit being the second phase of the complete make-over of the existing exhibit. The project consisted of the fabrication and installation of new interior caging, transfer tunnels within the building to each holding area, installation of a transfer tunnel thru the roof structure and into the exhibit, and all related structural modifications and roof replacement.     Matt Elswick Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President Matt Elswick joined Tellepsen in January 2022 and brings over 10 years of financial management experience within the construction industry and related services. His career started in the field which is where he developed his passion for providing high-class service to internal stakeholders and most importantly, customers. Matt brings a “field first focused” approach to our support function organization whereby teams are consistently challenged to influence the score versus simply keeping the score. Before joining Tellepsen, he was APTIM’s Vice President of Finance for their Construction, Maintenance, and Environmental business units. Previously he held various leadership positions within Chicago Bridge & Iron (CB&I) and The Shaw Group.
