The 68,000-square-foot Central Control Building is the control facility for every processing unit (24) at the Texas City Plant Site. It was constructed to blast resistant standards and to withstand a Category V hurricane and provide a shelter in place location for operators within the plant. There is redundancy for all systems, so the mission critical facility will never experience any down time. The project includes an adjoining employee parking lot.
