The University of Houston Multidisciplinary Research and Engineering Building is a four-story, 125,200- square-foot freestanding building. It includes wet engineering research labs, high-field nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer lab, tier-three data center, high performance computational training facilities, high performance computational visualization lab, administrative offices, common areas, and shell space. The facility provides a state-of-the-art infrastructure needed to increase enrollment, faculty, and research funding. It fosters collaboration across the campus by minimizing redundancies and housing core facilities in a single location.
