The University of Houston Clear Lake STEM Building is approximately 125,000 square feet, including approximately 10,000 square feet of shell space. The project also includes an extension of the existing Bayou Loop Road. The new Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics building has the most up to date technology that is ahead of all previous like facilities. The new facility includes up-to-date office space and active learning centers that allow for a real-time tie interactive learning experience between professor and student. The newly state of the art learning center includes exterior self-tinting windows that darken as the intensity of the sun hits them.
