The project consists of site work, selective demolition of the existing church and construction of a new 24,000-square-foot, 1,400-seat worship center. The project also includes renovation of 14,000-square-foot and a 7,000-square-foot addition to the existing parish center. Before demolition of the existing sanctuary, Tellepsen helped the church turn the gym into a temporary worship center. Once the new sanctuary was complete, the gym was renovated. Other renovations were made to accommodate administrative offices and a reception area. Tellepsen was selected at the beginning of design to work with the design team providing scheduling, estimating, and value engineering services throughout the design phase.
