The Memorial Hermann Health System has expanded their northeast campus with an additional bed tower. The scope of work included construction of a 5-story patient tower and mechanical penthouse and Beacon feature. In addition, the project included construction of central plant facilities and infrastructure to support the new bed tower and for future redundancies, as well as modifications to the south tower facade and site improvements. The new tower has 90 new inpatient beds, new food services area, new cardiopulmonary department, public circulation space, and MEP support space. The central plant includes 2,000 tons of chilled water capacity with a new 1,600 KVA electrical service.
