The Memorial City Mall Redevelopment project was a comprehensive upgrade to the existing Mall that was constructed in the late 1960s. The program included three new major department stores, upgrades to all major utilities, new parking surfaces, wayfinding, four new parking structures and major improvements to all areas of the public mall. Details of the work include a gross lease area of 1,800,000 square feet, and a mall area of approximately 250,000 square feet. The total number of site parking spaces is 4,253.
