The former Compaq Center multi-purpose arena was repositioned and renovated to provide a 16,000-seat sanctuary and classrooms for this internationally prominent church. A 200,000-square-foot office building was constructed adjacent to the sanctuary to provide classrooms, assembly rooms, and office space. The sanctuary includes all of the technology for a functional broadcast facility with integrated audio/visual and production support systems. The project, completed in 16 months, was constructed on a highly congested urban site with the need for meticulous planning and coordination of all on-site activities.
