This three-story project included an Emergency Department expansion alone that provided nearly double the bed capacity and is now the largest ED in the Houston Methodist system at 45 beds. The newly constructed second floor provides 26 all new patient rooms for overnight stay with support space and the expansion of an existing pharmacy. While the third floor increases surgery capacity with five state-of-the-art operating rooms and two C-Section rooms with an adjacent nursery and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
