This project included approximately 25,000 square foot conference and training areas on the ground level; expanded office space on the second level; world-class training and presentation facilities for GE Oil & Gas and their global customers. New construction includes the addition of a 60-foot wide by 151-foot-long high bay metal building with a lean-to canopy. The building features a 20-ton overhead rail crane, compressed air drops, and an outdoor CMU walled containment and pressure wash area. The renovation portion of the project included the selective demolition and expansion of a two-story office area residing in the existing high bay metal building. This expansion doubles the level two office space, adds personnel lockers and restrooms on the first floor, doubles the size of the breakroom and electrical processes room, and adds a control room. This work was performed adjacent to a shop area that remained fully operational throughout the project.
