Brookfield Properties obtained Tellepsen to renovate the exterior facades of the entrance and southern bar. The scope of work consists of the demolition and removal of existing structural steel framing, replacement of glazing systems, MEP rework, the addition of a new north canopy, addition of the south facade and roof, replacement of the south exterior exit staircase, demolish and construct new landscape and hardscape areas. The hotel remained operational while demolition and renovations occur, which required us to create a temporary tunnel entry leading patrons directly to the base of the hotel escalator and then up to the interim guest check-in area on the second floor.
