The 27,000-square-foot Sports Medicine project involved the buildout of Level 5 shell space to include new exam rooms, X-ray and imaging rooms, support spaces, common spaces, and a 18,300-square-foot Ortho/Sports Med Clinic. The team utilized temporary barriers, infectious prevention barriers, negative air machines and directional signage to minimize impacts to the hospital operations. To facilitate loading the mechanical and medical equipment on the floor, a perimeter window was removed, and these materials were brought through the side of the building using cranes. The team coordinated closely with the hospital staff for necessary MEP and life safety shutdowns and tie-ins.
