Founded in 1876, Prairie View A&M University is the second oldest public institution of higher learning in the state of Texas. The University is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and service. Located in the Texas Medical Center, the College of Nursing is known for the quality and variety of programs offered with advances in technological, academic, and research partnerships. The 12-story Nursing School Tower provides 120,000 square feet of teaching, laboratory, and administrative space, with an eight-level parking structure.
