Tellepsen was retained by the City of West University Place for the redevelopment and expansion of the city's municipal complex. The multi-building complex includes a two-story addition to the City Hall for a new Police Station, Emergency Operations Center, locker rooms, and new single occupancy sleeping quarters for the Fire Department. Parks & Recreational Facilities added a new 24,000-square-foot fitness center, an 11,000-square-foot indoor competition swimming pool, recreational play fields, parking, and a new 5,000-square-foot community center. A state-of-the-art leisure pool included water features, a climbing wall, a diving area, and a child water spray park. The complex was recognized for its contribution to sustainability through Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Certified Certification.
