While the third floor increases surgery capacity with five state-of-the-art operating rooms and two C-Section rooms with an adjacent nursery and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Category: Hospitality This is a one-story, 12,000-square-foot club, restaurant, pool and outdoor dining veranda. Banquet facilities are included as well as formal and informal dining, bar and grill. Full kitchen facilities are major part of the project. The facility is also equipped with men's and women's locker rooms, a fully stocked ship's store, Harbor Master's tower and an observation deck. The building structure consists of structural steel and wood framing, a stucco facade with several copper domes and cupolas. Category: Healthcare (interiors) The 3,325-square-foot Office to Exam Project was the phased conversion of existing medical staff office areas to thirteen new Patient Exam Rooms and the addition of eleven new Touchdown Areas for clinical staff purposes in the Oncology, ENT and Otolaryngology/Audiology clinics on the 2nd and 3rd levels of Texas Childrens Hospital West Campus. The reconstruction of the areas were performed during typical normal business hours when clinic areas were operational and at the same time, patients/ hospital staff occupied each area. In order to maintain constant hospital operations, temporary barriers, infectious prevention barriers, negative air machines and directional signage were utilized to isolate construction from clinic areas. Category: Office / Corporate (New | Major Addition) The project site is located in Southwest Houston on an existing industrial site. The existing facility was demolished, and a new office/technical training facility was constructed in its place. The new 67,000-square-foot office building contains new offices, conference rooms, classrooms, and support spaces. The technical training facility is approximately 46,000 square-feet, providing hands-on training simulation for the works on actual equipment and field conditions. In addition to the very large site, there is a small storage warehouse and vehicular storage canopy. The buildings are considered essential, mission-critical facilities. Category: Education - Higher Ed This is a new, 3-story mass timber classroom building, comprising approximately 122,000 gross square feet, is currently the largest Mass Timber building in the nation. This building has earned San Jacinto College recognition for environmental sustainability. The design includes instructional classrooms, computer and robotics labs, lecture hall, administrative offices, student collaboration areas, and support spaces. Anchored on the original quadrangle of the college's most highly populated campus, the new building connects the academic campus core with the 1980s-era Davison Technical Building, the new Student Services Welcome Center, and new public entrance on Luella Boulevard. Category: Healthcare (New | Major Addition) The Memorial Hermann Health System has expanded their northeast campus with an additional bed tower. The scope of work included construction of a 5-story patient tower and mechanical penthouse and Beacon feature. In addition, the project included construction of central plant facilities and infrastructure to support the new bed tower and for future redundancies, as well as modifications to the south tower facade and site improvements. The new tower has 90 new inpatient beds, new food services area, new cardiopulmonary department, public circulation space, and MEP support space. The North Klein Campus in Spring, Texas was a significant step in becoming one church in many locations. Since 2013, the North Campus has seen considerable and consistent growth, resulting in a need for a new permanent home and master plan. Construction includes spaces for worship, administration, adult education, pre-school and elementary education, children's worship, student's and college ministry, a cafe, and central maintenance.
