Tellepsen Partnership with OSHA...As of December 2004, Tellepsen has entered into a formal partnering agreement with the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA). The agreement between Tellepsen and
OSHA is an extended, voluntary, cooperative relationship to encourage and assist Tellepsen's efforts to eliminate serious hazards and achieve a high level of worker safety and health. The partnering agreement recognizes Tellepsen's past safety performance and ongoing safety processes that have been strategically designed to eliminate workplace injuries and illnesses. Tellepsen has become one of only a few general contractors in the Houston area to qualify for
OSHA's voluntary partnership program.
Award of Project Excellence (APEX Awards)...Associated General Contractors proudly presented the 2004 APEX 6 Awards on August 26, 2004. Tellepsen received the APEX Award for the Boy Scouts New Cockrell Center in the Institutional Category, and for St. Martin's Episcopal Church in the Liturgical/Church Category.
Excellence in Construction Award...
American Subcontractors Association Houston Chapter held their annual awards on January 16, 2004. Tellepsen received several nominations including General Contractor of the Year, Project of the Year for St. Martin's Episcopal Church and Cloister, and John Brock was nominated for Superintendent of the Year. The St. Martin's Episcopal Church and Cloister won the Project of the Year Award!
