8 Years and 6 Million Man-Hours Lost Time Injury Free
Houston, TX-August 30, 2011- Tellepsen, a leader in commercial and industrial construction, is pleased to announce the achievement of a significant safety milestone. The company has worked over 8 years and 6 million man-hours without a lost-time accident.
Tellepsen's path to this accomplishment started with a carefully developed strategy that engages every employee with a spirit of ownership for safety. Phillips attributes the overwhelming success of Tellepsen's Safety Program to several factors, including monthly safety operations meetings, weekly departmental safety meetings, and the continuous improvement program carried out with Predictive Solutions, a proactive behavior-based safety system the company uses to analyze and mitigate risks. Tellepsen also recognizes and rewards individuals, departments, and the entire workforce when exceptional safety efforts are made.
