Tellepsen awarded $24 million in local liturgical contracts
HOUSTON (June 19, 2008) – Family owned-and-operated construction company Tellepsen was recently awarded $24 million in liturgical construction projects, the company announced today.
The combined projects, for the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Christ the King Presbyterian Church, which are planned to break ground in the first quarter of 2009, will add more than 100,000 square feet of administrative offices, educational and food service facilities along with expanded parking and larger spaces of worship,.
“A church is a place of celebration, a place of worship, and most of all, a home,” said Howard Tellepsen, Jr., chairman and CEO of Tellepsen. “Building these sanctuaries is as rewarding to Tellepsen as it is to the congregations. We are proud to have been a part of Houston’s growing liturgical landscape for nearly 100 years.”
