Tellepsen Marks 100 Years with New Look

HOUSTON, Texas, April 9, 2009 - Tellepsen is celebrating 100 years as a family-owned Houston business with the unveiling of a new look and brand promise that reflects our deep roots within the construction industry and community. A new logo, tagline - "Cornerstone of the Community" - and Web site are just the beginning of a yearlong rollout of the "new" Tellepsen that builds on four generations of relationship-focused commitment and leadership to kick off the company's next century.

The new Tellepsen logo, featuring a white T in a red square, visually depicts Tellepsen as a cornerstone of the communities in which we work and live. It represents our long history of working with local leaders to build many of the landmarks that shape Houston's skyline and industrial landscape, and our culture of being caring, responsible neighbors through volunteerism and philanthropy.

"Our ‘Cornerstone of the Community' tagline clearly expresses our mission, which is to deliver value for all those with whom we work, whether building owner, architect, engineer, employee or sub-contractor," said Tellepsen Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Howard T. Tellepsen.

As a cornerstone of the community, Tellepsen generates consistent work on high-quality projects, maintains safe work environments and continuously finds new and better ways to work. The company creates jobs, improves safety performance and raises the standard for building quality and client experience. Tellepsen also supports those organizations that match its business goals and objectives of serving the Houston area's most important needs.

"We look forward to the future, to the exciting projects ahead, the relationships we will build, and the histories we will continue to create as builders of significance," said Tellepsen.
